Welcome to the sustain food website
Beyond Food Links - the new look Sustain FOOD website
With the recent completion of the Northern Rivers Food Links project, the management of this site and its contents have been transferred to Regional Development Australia - Northern Rivers, supported by our Sustain Northern Rivers partners.
We are making a number of changes to sustainFOOD, including:
1. A home page article each month on a topical subject by a guest author. We hope to cover a variety of topics that will inform and challenge.
2. A new 'this month' feature with quick links to what's happening this month in the garden, in the community and on the dinner table.
3. Expanding our 'find' database to include information about restaurants and retailers who sell and serve local food
4. An online forum where the region's community gardeners and garden clubs can share their skills and ideas with each other and with you
Finally, we want this site to be a useful resource, and to focus on growing food in our sub-tropical climate and eating what's fresh and in season. We welcome your ideas on how to improve the site, please contact us.
We thank the Northern Rivers Food Links team for the body of work that underpins this site and the Clarence Valley Council for hosting the site. For more information about the achievements of the Food Links project, click HERE.
